Donna is co-chair of the Professional Standards Committee for the local Board of Realtors, NRRAR and is a certified Keller Williams Realty® real estate trainer who shares her knowledge both locally and statewide. Phone: 252-636-6595Send Bill a message.Bill has spent his entire life in the New Bern area, most of which has been on the water, where he feels he belongs. Being a Pisces probably has something to do with that.
After 32.5 years with Weyerhaeuser Paper Company, he retired to help his wife, Donna, with her Real Estate profession. Having a Brokers license and a US Coast Guard Captain's license, his plan was to offer Donna's clients the opportunity to view waterfront properties from the water and see the beauty of New Bern through his eyes.
Bill knows the waters of the area like the back of his hand and looks forward to the opportunity to combine pleasure and work, while being on the water. A lover of local history and lore, he can show you where Indians sat and chipped arrowheads from stone that was dug from the banks of the Trent and Neuse Rivers.
In addition to giving clients water tours of the area, Bill takes photographs of New Bern for Team New Bern. With a passion for photography, we feel that Bill provides the best photographs in the local Multiple Listing Service, (MLS). As Field Care Specialist, he will be the second person most sellers meet from Team New Bern when he visits your home for a photo shoot. He follows his passions and does them well.
Bill enjoys fishing, boating, exploring, cooking, cars, metal detecting, gardening, piddling and scrounging. Lynn Hand's husband, Bill Hand, says that "Bill Harmatuk was a "Wrecker" in a former life". A "Wrecker" was a person that would travel up and down the Outer Banks of North Carolina, in a mule and cart, looking for remains of ship wrecks and cargo washed ashore to salvage.
